Management Team

Roper CEO Maeve Garigan

Maeve Garigan, CEO. 


Maeve is the Chief Executive and technical authority for Roper’s secure, zero-infrastructure sensing and communication systems. She is the inventor of Roper’s product stack, including the PATCH® wearable and the SnapMesh™ secure mesh networking protocol.


Prior to founding Roper, Maeve served as a technology advisor and lead engineer supporting U.S. military commands, with a focus on unmanned systems, sensor systems, artificial intelligence, weapons, and tactical mobility. Her work spans research and development through manufacture and fielding.


Maeve holds an MA in International Economics and Strategic Studies and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed operational training in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Anti-Terrorism / Force Protection (AT/FP).
Roper COO Dana De Coster

Dana De Coster, COO. 


Dana is the Chief Operating Officer and leads operations, customer deployment, and the integration of Roper’s systems into real-world missions. A retired U.S. Navy SEAL Commander, he brings 20 years of experience leading teams in complex, high-risk environments.


During deployments, Dana expanded from operational leadership to directing technical teams, including deployed engineers integrating diverse data streams into real-time operational systems. He also led the deployment of backpackable reconnaissance drones for Special Operations, where he first worked with Maeve. 


Dana later co-founded Roper with Maeve and is the co-inventor of Roper’s PATCH® wearable mesh networking device.


Dana holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University, and an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
